Therefore, it really just appears to me to be a star vehicle, cash grab that will only be confusing to younger generations, who didn't live through the times of when the original play/movie were created. Perhaps a sequel would have been a better way to go, especially with the original playwright still alive at the time of the play revival and this subsequent film.
